Author of The Dance of Leadership, (Novus Publishing, 2005), Dr. Johnson has lectured and taught on leadership, diversity, and organizational behavior around the world. As President of EQUEST Inc. she facilitates empowering transformation of individuals, groups and organizations in our multi-cultural world. EQUEST Inc. provides workshops, keynotes, consulting, training. and leadership coaching in (Dance of) leadership styles, diversity, multicultural awareness to corporate executives, managers, and educators.

Robin Denise Johnson, is an Associate Professor of Management at California State Polytechnic University she is actively engaged in research and teaching organizational behavior subjects and has written a text book ?Organizational Behavior: A Multicultural Approach?. Dr. Johnson is the founding faculty director of the UCLA Anderson School of Management?s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Leadership Institute (the only program of its type at a school of management in the world) and teaches in the UCLA Leadership Institutes for Women, African Americans, Head Start Directors and Multi-cultural Communications executives.

Dr. Johnson earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University with an award-winning dissertation on empowerment in the work-family arena. She also has an M.A. in Psychology from Harvard, and a B.A. in International Relations and History from Brown University. Prior to completing her doctorate and becoming a professor, Dr. Johnson worked as an International Corporate Finance Manager for 10 years, living in Milan, Brussels, London, New York, and Chicago. She speaks English and French fluently, converses in Italian and Flemish, and has studied Portuguese and Malay.

She applies the teaches and learns the lessons from the Dance of Leadership through her dancing and direction of a tribal fusion world dance group, Troupe Melangees (www.tribalfusiondance.com) in Southern California.

When time permits, Dr. Johnson is a Destination and/or Motivational Lecturer aboard cruise ships. Her lectures included Peoples of the Americas; Sugar Tobacco & Rum - Economic Links in the Atlantic; Revolutionary Devils? - the Colonists of French Guiana; Women in the Americas; Non-verbal Communication in Brazil; and Brazil & Argentina - Regional Rivals, the Enneagram, the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Introduction to Types of Yoga, Color and Sound Awareness, Flowing with the Wave, and Ayurvedic Body Types. These lectures allow her to stay involved with international culture and history as well as expressing her interest in mind, body, spirit integration and creative life expression.
