Women's Leadership Exchange® Holds Conferences to Help Women Go For Growth in Wake of Economic Instability:

New York City Conference Scheduled for July 21, Followed by Chicago, Minneapolis and Phoenix

New York, NY (July 6, 2011) -- The Women's Leadership Exchange® (WLE) nationally-acclaimed conference program has been helping women entrepreneurs and executives nationwide grow their businesses and advance their careers for nine years. WLE has partnered with MetLife for the second year in a row to host a four-city tour to help women business owners grow and achieve success in the current challenging economy. The theme of the conference series is “Go For Growth”, with the first conference on July 21st scheduled to be held in New York City at MetLife headquarters at 1095 Sixth Avenue New York, New York. The New York conference will be followed by conferences in Chicago on August 18, Minneapolis on September 27 and Phoenix on November 15.

The goal of the conference is to help business owners achieve the growth that is necessary for success. The WLE conference will present new strategies, tactics and resources that didn’t exist a few years ago. WLE has assembled a group of experts and business owners who are experiencing outstanding results with new business models and strategies. Speakers and topics include: Wendi Caplan-Carroll from Constant Contact on Engagement Marketing Strategy to Grow Your Business; Nelly Yusupova, Technical Strategist & Internet Marketing Consultant, on The Newest Growth Strategies on Online Marketing and Technology; Susan Solovic, author and co-founder of on new strategies in sales and alliances. A panel of innovative business owners, who have been thriving despite the economy includes Julie Azuma, founder, Different Roads to Learning, Inc., a product resource company serving the autism community, Noha Waibsnaider, founder, multimillion dollar fresh fruit snack company Peeled Snacks; Sandra Gault, serial entrepreneur, founder Shuforia, who is test-marketing a new-concept custom shoe collection; and moderated by Erica Orange, V.P., Weiner, Edrich, Brown, leading futurist firm which identifies trends and opportunities for businesses. In addition, the conference will feature WLE Connections Circles, a facilitated networking session, SpeedCoaching, which gives attendees the opportunity for one-on-one private coaching with the speakers.

WLE will be honoring Lisa Bloom, an award--winning journalist, trial attorney, and currently CBS News legal analyst, with the WLE Compass Award for shifting the paradigm of how women are perceived as leaders in the world. Bloom is the author of the best selling book Think: Straight Talk for Women to Stay Smart in a Dumbed Down World. It will be the first time that WLE has honored both a mother and daughter with the coveted Compass Award. Lisa is the daughter of famed women's rights attorney Gloria Allred, who was presented the Compass Award in 2005.
